Step into the light… of Awareness
Have you ever had the experience of shedding light on a subject before? What a wonderful experience… to no longer be in the dark anymore. To shed light is to share understanding… and to share understanding is how we become a positive influence in the world. This is simple cause and effect in action, and another example of what we bring to the World, we bring from within. The reality is, everyone has different shades of light and dark within. The darkness is simply unknowing. I.e., you’re in the dark about yourself or something outside of you. The light is knowing. I.e., becoming aware of something inside or outside. So, what is the light of awareness, and how do we find the switch?
Awareness is “the state of having knowledge, understanding or perception of a situation, subject or existence of something. It involves being conscious of internal feelings or external surroundings.” You don’t “do” aware, you “be” aware. Once this awareness moves into action via the articulation of knowledge or skill, a positive result is the usual outcome.
Where is it? It is in your Kelee®, a phenomenon of energy inside everyone that means “pertaining to different states of mind.” The understanding of the Kelee shows you exactly where the light of awareness is, and the (5min) practice of Kelee meditation teaches you how to brighten it.
In my role as a mind and performance coach, I see people fall short of their potential, not so much because of a skill or knowledge deficit, but more because of a problem with their state of mind. Distracted, fearful, overwhelmed, lacking confidence, etc. These are problems of being, not doing. I.e., our state of mind.
At the Nature of Success, we have an inside-out model to inspire quality living and performance mastery… which will help people find the light of awareness within and offer a simple 5-min meditation practice to brighten it. We understand the importance of our mental state. That’s how you feel matters, how we treat each other, matters… ultimately, awareness matters. Is it not time to step out of the dark and into the light?
